Susan Oliverio, M.S.Ed
Susan Oliverio, M.S.Ed is a Certified School Psychologist with special expertise in educational assessment and diagnosis of learning disabilities and gifted status in school ages children. She also has experience assessing the impact of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and executive functioning dysfunction on educational performance.
Along with her independent practice, Susan Oliverio is currently employed with Allegheny Intermediate Unit-3, completing psycho-educational evaluations on a contract basis in Allegheny and Butler Counties. Susan has established roots in the educational community, beginning her career as a teacher over 20 years ago. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Education in Child Psychology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 2005. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate and completing her dissertation investigating methods of increasing teachers’ ability to identify test anxiety and devise appropriate interventions.
Susan Oliverio has over 6 years experience in the field of school psychology with special expertise in educational assessment and diagnosis of gifted status and learning disabilities. She routinely assesses how Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and executive functioning deficits may impact educational performance in the classroom and makes educational recommendations for parents and educators to consider.
